In the initial stages of the Starfield campaign, a pivotal moment unfolds as players engage in solving the enigmatic Temple Eta puzzle within an extraterrestrial edifice, resulting in the acquisition of newfound power.
This significant event not only initiates hours of engaging storytelling but also lays the foundation for the exploration of various other temples throughout the game. Despite the grandeur of its appearance, the puzzle is surprisingly straightforward once its mechanics are understood.
The solution obtained during this encounter proves to be a fundamental key, repeatedly applied in subsequent temples, amplifying its importance and setting the tone for the challenges that lie ahead. Let’s delve into the intricacies of deciphering the Temple Eta puzzle.
How to Solve the Temple Eta Puzzle in Starfield?
When you go into Temple Eta, you will see a structure made of three rings that spin inside each other. As soon as the rings are in place in the middle of the room, some of the light dots will start to come together to form tighter, polyhedral shapes.
For the Temple Eta puzzle to make sense, you have to go through five of these light shapes. The problem is that they can show up in more than five places. How you pass them through is important. What doesn’t matter is how many “incorrect” ones you go through between two “correct” ones.
When you hear deep brass instruments after going through a shape, you’ll know you’re doing it right. From what I’ve seen, it’s easier to just keep going through each shape as it shows up.
At some point, you’ll get to the ones you need to get to. If you’re better at spatial math than I am, you can keep track of which ones you’ve already gone through, which ones are “duds” and don’t move the game forward, and which ones you need to turn on.
When you pass through the fifth and last shape, there will be a much bigger musical climax. The rings in the middle will start to spin very quickly. They will quickly form a circle, which you will fly into to get more power.
That’s how to solve the puzzle in Starfield’s Temple Eta. Don’t forget the steps. The process is the same for each new building, which is a shame, but what can you do? The only one you have to do in a certain order is Eta. The rest you can do whenever you want. Stay tuned with Crossover99 for more Gaming Related Tips and Tricks.
