However, you are free to change the hours and adjust the timing to suit your needs. For example, you can set it to run from 9 AM to 9 PM or from 6 PM to 11 PM. Instagram’s quiet mode is comparable to the iPhone’s Focus modes.

What Occurs If You Use Quiet Mode on Instagram?

The following will occur if you activate Quiet mode in the Instagram app for your account:

1. Notifications

When you set your Instagram account in Quiet mode, you won’t get any notifications when you’re not using the app, such as when there are new comments or messages. When you launch the app, the notifications will show up.

You can pause or quiet Instagram notifications using both functions, however, they do so in slightly different ways. The two primary features of the Quiet mode are the ability to schedule daily tasks and notify others when your Instagram notifications are halted.

Conversely, if you choose to Pause notifications, they will stop for a maximum of eight hours. You must select one of the periods that are provided. You can’t select a different time or plan. Furthermore, the 8-hour duration of Pause mode is marginally shorter than that of Quiet mode, which blocks out alerts for a full 12-hour period. It is not possible to choose which kind of alerts to quiet in any of the two modes. In both modes, all Instagram alerts are paused.

Turn off Quiet Mode on Instagram on iPhone/Android

Usually, the Quiet mode will shut off on its own at the predetermined time. On the other hand, you can disable it permanently or manually turn it off before the planned time.
