Benji Gregory, best known as the child star of the sitcom ‘ALF,’ has died, TMZ reported.

The news was revealed to TMZ by his sister Rebecca, who was found dead in his car in a Chase Bank parking lot in Peoria, Arizona on June 13.

The cause of his death may have been heatstroke in the vehicle. Their pot then reached 109 degrees in Arizona on June 12.

His service dog, Hans, was also found dead in the vehicle, the report said. The Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office told ABC7 Los Angeles that the cause of his death has not yet been determined.

Rebecca said her brother suffered from depression, bipolar disorder, and a sleep disorder that kept him awake for days.

People believe that Benji attempted to go to the bank on June 12 to deposit the remaining check, but he tragically died of heatstroke in the intense Arizona heat while sleeping in his vehicle. His service dog Hans also died in the same vehicle.

Rebecca says her family is coping with the huge loss and appreciates everyone’s thoughts and kind words. He has suggested that a charity be made in Benji’s name, such as the Actors’ Equity Foundation or the ASPCA, which he supported.
