Secret Invasion Trailer: Marvel Studios has finally released the first trailer for the upcoming Disney+ show Secret Invasion. In it, Samuel L. Jackson will play Nick Fury again, who was the former head of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the person who put together the Avengers.
The trailer shows that Fury is back on Earth after spending some time with the shape-shifting aliens the Skrulls in space. The Skrulls first appeared in Captain Marvel.
But not all Skrulls are nice, and some of them have gotten into the highest levels of power on Earth, putting people and Fury’s legacy in danger. Let’s Explore what happens in the trailer. So Let’s dive deep to get all information.
Who Do You Believe?
Fury says in a voiceover at the beginning of the trailer, “I’m the only thing between them and what they really want.” He is talking about the Skrulls, who have been replacing humans in secret for years as part of a plan to take over Earth.
This is based on the same-named comic book storyline, in which the Skrulls launched a huge invasion that caught the heroes by surprise and made them question each other’s identities. Some of the Skrulls’ disguises, like those of a police officer, a politician, and a soldier, can be seen in the trailer.

Fury’s Friends!
Fury is not fighting the Skrulls by himself. Some of his friends know his secret and are ready to help him. The trailer introduces some of the main cast members of the series, including Emilia Clarke as Abigail Brand, a S.W.O.R.D. agent who specializes in alien threats.
Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Fury’s former deputy at S.H.I.E.L.D.; Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, a Skrull leader who befriended Fury in Captain Marvel; and Olivia Colman as an unnamed character who seems to be a high-ranking official with ties to Fury.

One Last Battle!
At the end of the trailer, we see Fury holding a gun and wearing an eye patch. He looks ready to fight. He says “Here we are. One more battle.” This means that Fury is willing to risk everything to stop the Skrulls and keep Earth safe.
It also makes us wonder if this is the last time we’ll see Nick Fury in the MCU, or if he’ll live and keep being a leader and mentor for the next generation of heroes.
No matter what, Secret Invasion looks like it will be a thrilling and epic series that will change the MCU for good. On June 21, 2023, Disney+ will show the first episode of Secret Invasion.
