Billie Joel Armstrong, the lead singer of Green Day, has had enough of American politics.

During a recent concert with the band in the U.K.’s London Stadium on Friday, after the U.S. Supreme Court overruled Roe v Wade, the 50-year-old singer and guitarist from Oakland, Calif. claimed he’s renouncing his American citizenship in an emotional declaration to the crowd.

When Armstrong screamed, “F—- America,” the audience erupted in cheers and applause in response. “I’m f—-ing surrendering my citizenship. I’ll be right there.”

There were also performances by Fall Out Boy and Weezer as part of the band’s Hella Mega Tour.

The ruling, which was implemented by Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and all three of the Donald Trump-appointed Justices, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, has been denounced by many celebrities.
