Chesney grew up in Luttrell after being born on March 26, 1968, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, in the United States. He comes from both Irish and English families.
He is the son of Karen Chandler, a hairdresser in the Knoxville area, and David Chesney, who used to teach first grade. Chesney only has one sister, Jennifer Chandler, who is younger than him.
