Rajkummar Rao revealed, audition was given in the dance show ‘Boogie Woogie’ but was rejected

Recently, Bollywood actor Rajkumar Rao arrived as a guest on the set of reality show ‘India’s Best Dancer’. During this, Rajkummar Rao made a big disclosure that he also auditioned for the popular dance show ‘Boogie Woogie’, in which he was rejected. During this time, his co-star Nushrat Bharucha was also present in the film Chalap.

During the show, Rajkummar said, ‘Many years ago, when I was in 11th class, I came to Mumbai to audition Boogie Vugi with younger brother, but I was rejected. Today I feel very good seeing such great performances here. Judges gave 30 points for performing with contestants.

On which, Malaika Arora said, ‘Raj is a hidden dancer, but not many people know that he is a good dancer. I had the privilege of dancing with him in a film. We did a song together for the film Dolly Ki Doli. We rehearsed together for the dance. Raj was quite calm on the set, but as soon as the song was played, he jostled in fun and started dancing. On hearing this, Malaika said Nusrat Bharucha said, ‘You should see them in the party, if you play songs of the 90s, then they dance very well on them.’

Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha’s film Chalap is being released on November 12 on Amazon Prime. Apart from Rajkummar and Nushrat, Saurabh Shukla, Satish Kaushik, Zeeshan Ayub, Ila Arun and Jatin Sarna also play important roles in the film.
