Eilish was born on December 18, 2001, and was given the full name Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell. She was born in Los Angeles, California to parents Maggie Baird, an actress and theatre teacher, and Patrick O'Connell, an actor.
She has one older brother, Finneas, and her parents are of Irish and Scottish ancestry. She and her brother were taught at home.
