Dolby and Disney+ Hotstar Introduce Dolby Atmos Immersive Audio to The Disney+ Hotstar App.

As part of the Disney+ Hotstar app, consumers may experience Dolby Atmos immersive audio, courtesy of Dolby Laboratories, Inc. The streaming service previously introduced support for Dolby Vision and has since expanded that compatibility to include Dolby Atmos playback on TVs, AVRs, soundbars, Android smartphones, and iOS devices.

Dolby Atmos, available on Disney+ and Hotstar, provides a multidimensional, spatial sound experience that takes you deeper into your favorite films, TV shows, and more than ever before.

Thanks to the introduction of Dolby Vision in July 2020, Disney+ Hotstar viewers have been able to see every nuance of an actor’s expression, even in a low-light night scene. With the addition of Dolby Atmos, Disney+ Hotstar immerses viewers in the action and makes the world seem to revolve around them.
