American comedian and actor Carrot Top is worth an estimated $70 million. He is well-known for his self-deprecating sense of humor, his fiery red hair, and his use of props in comedy. He is among the most popular and well-paid performers in the city of Las Vegas.
He has been the main attraction at the Luxor in Las Vegas since 2005. He extended his stay at the Luxor Hotel and Casino by five years in October of this year (until 2025). In that case, his comedy act will have been at the MGM resort longer than any other in history.
Early Life
Scott Thompson, the youngest son of a NASA engineer, was born on February 25, 1965, in Rockledge, Florida. He attended and graduated from Cocoa High School in 1983, where he had been an active member of the marching and concert bands as a drummer.
A local swimming instructor gave him the moniker “Carrot Top” because of his fiery red hair. While attending Florida Atlantic University for his Bachelor of Science in Marketing after high school, Carrot Top got his start in stand-up comedy as an underclassman during open-mic nights.
Is Carrot Top gay?
For a long time, people have wondered about Carrot Top’s sexual orientation. The answer is yes, and there are several explanations for this.
Scott, although in his fifties, has never tied the knot. Because of this, many people incorrectly assume he is not attracted to females.
The fact that Carrot Top has had multiple cosmetic surgeries, giving him a more feminine appearance, also supports this theory.
To be clear, Scott has never been comfortable talking about his sexuality.
Additionally, we found out that Scott is currently engaged to Amanda Hogan after learning about their long-term connection. Since he seems to have an interest in female company, we may safely assume he is heterosexual.
So, to sum up: no, Carrot Top is not gay.

Is Carrot Top Married to A Wife or Dating a Girlfriend?
In a word, no. To my knowledge, Scott Thompson has never been married. His current priority is developing his stand-up comedy profession rather than starting a family.
He has only ever been in a relationship with one woman, identified only as “Amanda Hogan.”
Reportedly, Carrot Top and fiancée Amanda Hogan have been together for some time. Whether or not they will get married soon is an open question.

Career
Trying to create his imprint and differentiate himself from other stand-up comedians, he began using props in his routine.
He even resorted to using his naturally red, curly hair as a joke. Other props he uses include paper cups and string phones, heels with training wheels, and peanut bags featuring photographs of lost luggage.
As his fame grew, Jay Leno invited him to appear on his show in 1992. His humorous skills were showcased to a larger audience, and he was able to win over many new fans as a result of the show.
The satirical comedy film “Reno 911!” from 2006 featured Carrot Top. In it, he portrayed an irate alternate identity who wrecks his hotel room, steals a police car, and then fights off the cops when they try to capture him.
