The massive Microsoft launch event is now complete. The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 and the Surface Laptop 5 are the latest Surface computers to be released by the tech giant. The Surface Pro 9 has improved cameras and speakers, a longer battery life, and two new Surface Pro Signature Keyboard colors: Sapphire and Forest. Meanwhile, new Windows 11 interactive features power the Surface Laptop 5.
Pricing of Microsoft Surface Pro 9 and Surface Laptop 5
The lowest possible pricing for a Microsoft Surface Pro 9 is $999, or around Rs 82,200.
Comparatively, the Surface Studio 2+ can be purchased for Rs 4,299 (about $999), while the Surface Laptop 5 starts at $999. (roughly Rs 3,53,800).

Both the Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered Microsoft SQ and the 12th-generation Intel Core processor on the Intel Evo platform with Thunderbolt are available.
The Surface Pro 9 has better cameras and speakers, a longer battery life, and new Sapphire and Forest Green Surface Pro Signature Keyboards. To mark Surface’s ten-year anniversary, Microsoft has released a special edition design in partnership with Liberty of London, complete with a matching keyboard.
The Microsoft SQ 3 model supports as much as 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512TB of SSD storage. The other version has a CPU up to and including the 12th generation Intel Core i7-1255U and a graphics processing unit (GPU) from the Iris Xe family. Up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of SSD storage are available in this variant.
The 13-inch screen of the Microsoft Surface Pro 9 has a resolution of 2880 by 1920 pixels, is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, and can refresh at a rate of 120 hertz. Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.1 are both supported for wireless connectivity.
Both models have the same set of input/output ports, which consists of 2 USB-C 3.2 ports, 1 surface connect port, and 1 keyboard port. One more nano SIM slot is included with the 5G variant.

Microsoft Surface Laptop 5
There are two screen sizes available for the Surface Laptop 5. One variant has a 13.5-inch screen with a resolution of 2256 by 1504, while the other has a 15-inch screen with a resolution of 2496 by 1664.
It has an HD camera, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1, as well as Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers. There’s a USB-C port that supports Thunderbolt 4, a single USB-A port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connecting external devices.
Surface Laptop 5 configurations include up to a 12th-generation Intel Core i7-1255U processor, 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM, an Iris Xe graphics processing unit, and a 1TB removable solid-state drive.

In addition to the standard Platinum with Alcantara, Sage, Matte Black, and Sandstone, Microsoft offers a fifth generation Surface Laptop in a further two colors, Platinum with Ceramic Fiber. The 15-inch model comes in two color options, Platinum and Matte Black.
