Elves is a Danish fantasy horror drama TV show that was made and directed by Stefan Jaworski. A Danish family spends Christmas on an island near Aarhus. They don’t know, though, that there are elves who eat people living there.
The main character of the story, Jose, and the youngest member of his family find a lost baby elf. Their car had already hit the elf on the way to their house.
Jose names the elf Kee-ko. When the elves start going after people, the family has to fight to stay alive. Jaworski is also an executive producer of the series, along with Jonas Allen, Christian Potalivo, Peter Bose, and Jannik Tai Mosholu. Elise H. Lund is the producer.
The show’s creator cast Sonja Sofie Engberg Steen, Vivelill Sgaard Holm, Peder Thomas Pedersen, Rasmus Hammer, Milo Campanale, Lila Nobel, and Ann Eleonora Jorgensen, among others, as the main characters.
The first six episodes of the show came out on Netflix on November 28, 2021. People had different reactions to the show.
The Guardian gave it a 2 out of 5 and said it was a bland show where E.T. meets the Wicker Man. CBR said that the show couldn’t be called a horror show because it was missing the key parts.
Michigan Daily says that audiences don’t find it easy to care about the main character, and while the show goes on, the creators could have made it better by adding better characters.
They said it wasn’t very creative and that putting a twist on Christmas couldn’t happen in real life. But they said that you can still watch the show, and Nordic Watch praised it, saying that it is a mix of Christmas family drama, fantasy, folklore, and horror and that it is also scary and fun to watch. In December 2021, the show was one of the top ten most-watched shows on Netflix.
When Will Elves Season 2 Come Out?
The series came out on Netflix on November 28, 2021, and both critics and viewers liked it. However, it hasn’t been picked up for a second season yet, and the creators haven’t canceled it either.
So there is still a chance that Elves will come back for a second season. Once Elves is picked up for a second season, the official date for the new season will be set.

The Plot of Season 2 of Elves
Season 2 of Elves has been out on Netflix for almost a year. The first season didn’t do as well as the creators had hoped, and a second season has not been confirmed until now. But they haven’t canceled it either, so we might get to see a second season someday, but we don’t know when.
The show’s plot wasn’t very different from other shows we’ve seen in recent years. It was a typical story about a group of people who are stuck in a remote place where they can’t get in touch with anyone.

The only thing that makes this different is that we get to see elves, which is a twist, and they eat meat. Even though people had different reactions to it, the fact that it has both horror and fantasy elements helped it get to the top of Netflix’s list of best shows.
Since this is a horror fantasy drama, there are many things that can be explored, and that is what we can expect to see in Season 2 if it is confirmed.
