Jennifer Lopez Deletes All of Her Posts on Instagram and Other Social Media Sites. Go Dark
Jennifer Lopez’s social media accounts have turned black for no reason, and her Instagram, which had a lot of followers, has been completely deleted.
The singer, actor, and producer’s Instagram account, which has 226 million followers and is her most popular platform, suddenly had no posts on Tuesday night, and the profile picture had been changed to a solid black image.
Lo’s Twitter (45.5 million followers) and TikTok (15.4 million) profiles also had their pictures changed to black, but her old posts were still there. Lopez has 60 million fans on Facebook, where she changed her profile picture and cover photo to one with “Jennifer Lopez” written in script.
“A.K.A.,” Lopez’s most recent studio album, came out in 2014. She sang with Shakira at the halftime show of the 2020 Super Bowl, which was the subject of the Netflix documentary “Halftime,” which came out earlier this year.
Most recently, she was in the romantic comedy “Marry Me” with Owen Wilson. In December, she will be in “Shotgun Wedding” with Josh Duhamel. Under a multiyear deal between Netflix and her production company, Nuyorican Productions, Lopez will play an assassin in the action movie “The Mother,” which will be available on Netflix next year. She started a line of skin care products called JLo Beauty in 2021.
Lopez and Ben Affleck got back together in the early 2000s and started dating again. This summer, they got married in Las Vegas, and Lopez legally changed her last name to Affleck.
Lopez is the only artist to have had a No. 1 movie and album in the U.S. at the same time, with “The Wedding Planner” and “J.Lo” in 2001. At the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards, she was the first person of Latino heritage to win the Generation Award.
