In Wednesday’s episode of The 100, Clarke Griffin shot Bellamy Blake after he threatened to give the authorities Madi’s notebook of pictures of the future. Blood Giant, the 13th episode of the seventh season, has made a lot of people confused. So, if you want to know how Bellamy dies in The 100, here is a detailed answer to your question.
Does Bellamy Die in The 100?
Since the first episode of The 100, Bellamy has been a big part of the show. His death in the most recent episode was a big blow to fans, especially those who liked the “Bellarke” (Bellamy and Clarke) relationship. But if you think this could be another trick, I’m sorry to say that it’s not this time.
The showrunner, Jason Rothenberg, sent out a short tweet right after the episode aired on the East Coast to confirm that Bellamy had died and to explain why the character had been killed off so close to the end of the series.
In a note, Jason Rothenberg said, “For 7 seasons, The 100 has been a show about the dark things that humanity will do to survive and the toll those deeds take on our heroes’ souls”. The note further read, “We knew Bellamy’s death had to go to the heart of what the show is all about: Survival. Who you’re willing to protect. And who you’re willing to sacrifice.”

How Did Bellamy Die?
Bellamy is shot and killed for real in the episode of The 100 called “Blood Giant.”Clarke, who was Bellamy’s best friend, killed him, which was a shock. What makes this happen is that someone finds a notebook with drawings of the future in it.

Madi, Clarke’s “adopted” daughter, did the drawings. Clarke and Bellamy start arguing about what to do with the notebook. Bellamy tells Madi that she won’t get in trouble if her drawings are shown to other people.
He also says that it’s important to make things better for everyone. But Clarke doesn’t believe him and, in a panic, starts shooting Disciples and threatens to shoot Bellamy if he doesn’t give the notebook back.
Bellamy doesn’t think she will shoot him, so he keeps talking. Clarke then shoots him in the chest. Then, she runs out of bullets and tries to get away, but she doesn’t even have time to grab the notebook.
Here is where some fans think Bellamy’s death didn’t add anything to the story and was therefore pointless. Clarke was trying to keep Madi safe, but since he couldn’t get Madi’s notebook back, he doesn’t know what will happen to it.
