Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Story
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation was made by the clever Rifujin na Magonote. It is a captivating story about the journey of a 34-year-old NEET.
After his parents die and he has to leave his home, the main character decides to do one last good thing by saving teenagers from an oncoming truck.
Instead of dying, he is reborn as a baby in a new magical world, where he starts his life over. His new name, Rudeus Greyrat, gives him a chance to start over and do well. In this new world full of magic, he plans to become a magic user, but nothing ever goes as planned.
Like many other isekai series, the author started this one as a web book and then turned it into a light novel. In January 2014, the first book came out.
In Japan, there have been 26 books in the Mushoku Tensei light novel series. In North America, the series is put out by Seven Seas Entertainment.
So far, the first season adapted volumes 1 through 6, so if you want to pick up the story where the first season left off, check out Mushoku Tensei Light Novel Volume 7 in English.
The light novel series Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation ended with Volume 26, but the author wants to write another story set in the same world.
A Look at The Success of Jobless Reincarnation
The anime, which was made by Studio Bind, was shown as a split cour in 2021. Manabu Okamoto, who has also worked on The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls: U149 and Gamers, is in charge of the show.
People think Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is one of the best Isekai stories that has been turned into an anime so far. Many anime fans thought this was the best show of the Winter Anime Season of 2021.
Mushoku Tensei is a big hit. As of February 2022, more than 10 million copies of the light books had been sold. About 5,000 copies of each Blu-ray book are sold, which is great for 2021.
More than 30 figures and 400 pieces of goods are also available. That’s not terrible, but this series is often compared to Re Zero, which has 700 figures and 4,000 gods.
The Grey Rat Swimsuit Version, Roxy Migurdia Nendoroid, and Roxy Migurdia PVC Statue are some of the best models you can get.
In March 2021, an Android and iOS game based on Mushoku Tensei came out. But in July 2021, it was said that the game would no longer be playable after 2022.
Overall, it’s clear that this is a successful isekai series, but it’s not as big as Konosuba, Re Zero, or Slime.
