Maci Bookout McKinney is an American reality television personality, author, and public speaker. She was born Maci DeShane Bookout on August 10, 1991. She was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and rose to prominence after appearing in the reality television series 16 and Pregnant in 2009, which followed the pregnancies and initial months of parenthood of various young women.
She was cast in the spin-off series Teen Mom later that year, and she appeared in all four seasons until its termination in 2012. Bookout, along with Catelynn Baltierra, Amber Portwood, and Farrah Abraham, returned to MTV in March 2015 for the fifth season of Teen Mom OG.
Her first book, Bulletproof, was released in September 2016, and her second book, I Wasn’t Born Bulletproof: Lessons I’ve Learned (So You Don’t Have To), was released in June 2017.
Bookout participated in Naked and Afraid in 2018, aiming to live 14 days in the bush, however, she left after the second day.

In 2015, she gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Jayde Carter, with her now-husband Taylor.
Maci’s third kid, Maverick Reed, was born in 2016.
Maci has confessed that she became pregnant by chance.
“We never counted on my being pregnant again so soon after [Jayde] was born,” she says in her biography.
Maverick came as a complete shock. Jayde was still a baby when I found out I was pregnant.”

Maci Bookout, actress of “Teen Mom OG,” just made an appearance on the hit reality show “Naked & Afraid.” Unfortunately, Bookout decided to quit the program… on her first day, after grumbling about those who quit on their first day.
Naked & Afraid, a popular reality TV show, sends would tobe survivalists into the jungle without even their underwear. While many people believe they are up to the task, mother nature often triumphs. And it turns out that’s exactly what occurred when Maci Bookout of Teen Mom OG tried her luck.
According to Radar Online, Bookout was only in Nicaragua for one day while on the show.
They set out to get fresh water after meeting her partner, a man named Justin. Unfortunately, due to a significant number of thorns on the ground, things swiftly deteriorated. During the show, Bookout explained:
Before beginning her adventure on the show, Bookout mentioned that she despises those who quit on the first day. “They don’t give themselves a chance,” she said cynically. They’re done as soon as they detect a symptom of distress. It’ll be difficult, but I’m not going to give up.”
