Hot Wheels Unleashed, Injustice 2, and Superhot are the October PlayStation Plus Free Games

In October, PlayStation Plus members can download three free games. Whether you’re in the mood to break bones in Injustice 2 or Superhot or burn rubber on the plastic tracks of Hot Wheels Unleashed, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to unleash your rage.

When that’s the case, PlayStation Plus has you covered. The following games will be available to download for free by all PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday, October 4 through Monday, October 31. Put a reminder on your calendar.

Hot Wheels Unleashed | PS4, PS5

Toy cars from the Hot Wheels series of toys can be collected and raced in the arcade racing game Hot Wheels Unleashed. The uniqueness, specs, and personalization of each automobile will set them apart.

Injustice 2 | PS4

Injustice 2 is a fighting game developed by the same studio responsible for Mortal Kombat. It can be played either single-player or with up to four players online, and features a cast of DC Comics characters like Batman, Superman, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, the Flash, and many more.

Dynamic duels will ensue between heroes and villains, with only one emerging victorious.

This game, unlike many others of its kind, allows you to acquire and modify a wide variety of equipment. Like in role-playing games, all equipment has attack and defense statistics, although this level of detail isn’t meant to overwhelm the player.

Superhot | PS4

Superhot combines elements of first-person shooters, action games, and mental exercises. Since your character’s timer doesn’t start ticking until he or she moves, you can take their time to assess the situation and plan an attack. There are a total of 34 stages in the game.

Take note that Sony is saving the announcement of the October PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium game catalogs for a later date. If you haven’t already, be sure to grab September’s lineup (which includes Need for Speed Heat, Granblue Fantasy: Versus, and Toem, among others if you have Extra or Premium) by Monday, October 3.
