The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 3 Gets Record-Breaking Runtime!

0

The next episode of The Mandalorian Season 3 will be longer than any other Star Wars Disney+ show. Fans are getting more and more upset about how long Marvel and Star Wars movies are.

This made a lot of people sad when the first episode of The Mandalorian Season 3 was only 35 minutes and 16 seconds long, which was the shortest ever for a Star Wars episode.

Luckily, that changed a lot for Episode 2 (Chapter 19), which shot up to 42 minutes and 24 seconds, which is a full seven minutes longer than the first episode.

But do you know that the next Episode will be the longest episode of the season? Let’s give you all details here. Scroll down and read the full article.

The Next Episode of the Mandalorian is the Longest One!

Fans now know how long The Mandalorian Season 3, Episode 3 will be, thanks to a post from Cryptic HD Quality. It will be the longest Star Wars Disney+ episode ever.

Chapter 19( Episode 3) of The Mandalorian will be 56 minutes and 11 seconds long, not including the credits for dubbing and other languages that Disney+ adds to the listed runtime. This is the longest episode of the show so far.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 3

The longest episode of The Mandalorian so far was the Season 2 premiere, “The Marshall.” This episode introduced Cob Vanth, played by Timothy Olyphant, and ran for 51 minutes and 47 seconds. This record will now be broken by almost five minutes.

Why is the Next Episode of the Mandalorian So Long?

Many fans will be happy to hear that the next episode of The Mandalorian will be almost an hour long. This is because most episodes of the Disney+ show run between 35 and 45 minutes.

But that doesn’t answer why Chapter 19 will be so much longer than the other episodes. In the last episode of “The Mandalorian,” Din Djarin, Grogu, and Bo-Katan began their journey into Mandalore.

Din ended the episode by retaking his creed oath while bathing in the waters of the Mines. He was then pulled underwater and met the mythical Mythosaur with Bo-Katan.

So, the beginning of the next episode should be full of action as the Mandalorians and the Mythosaur get into some kind of fight. This will definitely lead to more exploration of Mandalore, and it will also set the general direction for the rest of Season 3.

After all, most people thought that Din Djarin’s adventure in Mandalore would be the main plot of the season and that the arrival on the planet would happen in one of the last episodes. Still, all of that has happened in the first two chapters, so who knows what The Mandalorian’s crew has planned for the next six.
