A Flashback to The Past!
The episode begins with a flashback to the season premiere when Din Djarin and Greef Karga encountered a band of pirates led by Gorian Shard, who claimed to be Nevarro’s rightful ruler. Djarin and Karga soon despatched the pirates, but not before Shard vowed vengeance.
In the present, Shard has returned with a gigantic ship and an army of pirates, ready to take over Navarro by force. He uses cannons to bombard the town, demolishing buildings and inciting panic among the residents.

Meanwhile, Captain Teva, one of the New Republic pilots who assisted Djarin in season 2, reads Karga’s letter and becomes anxious.

He feels that something nefarious is taking place in the Outer Rim and that it is linked to Moff Gideon’s activities.
He chooses to look into it further, but he is met with opposition from his superiors and colleagues. Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios, a former rebel soldier who now works as a New Republic officer, is one of them.
Teva’s theories irritate Zeb, who believes he is wasting his time pursuing ghosts. Another is Elia Kane, a former Imperial officer who was rehabilitated and is now an advisor to the New Republic.
Kane is covertly working for Gideon and tries to undermine Teva’s efforts by providing misleading information and preventing him from following up on his leads.
Teva flies to Coruscant, the former Republic and Empire capital, where he encounters Colonel Tuttle, a high-ranking official who was once a rebel leader. Tuttle understands Teva’s concerns, but he informs him that he lacks the authority and resources to assist him.
He argues that the New Republic is overburdened by bureaucracy and that Nevarro never signed the charter that would have qualified it for protection. He also doubts Gideon is still alive or poses a threat, despite the fact that he was allegedly kidnapped by Bo-Katan Kryze and her Mandalorians.
A Secret Mission!
Teva refuses to give up and decides to take control of the situation. R5-D4, an old rebel droid who now works as a mechanic on Navarro, calls him.
R5-D4 informs him that he knows where to find Djarin and his covert of Mandalorians, who live near the town by a lake. Teva flies there and meets Djarin, who decides to assist him after hearing about Karga’s predicament.
Djarin assembles his Mandalorians, which include Bo-Katan, Koska Reeves, Axe Woves, Fennec Shand, Boba Fett, Mayfeld, and Cobb Vanth.
They board Teva’s X-wing and take off for Nevarro. They come upon some pirate warriors along the road who try to stop them, but they manage to shoot them down.
As they get to Nevarro, they discover Karga and his people hidden in a cave.
