Halston Season 2 Release Date!
It was said that Halston would be a miniseries with five episodes that would cover the whole life and work of the famous designer. So, this Netflix original was always meant to be a limited series that wouldn’t go on for more than one season.
Ryan Murphy, the show’s executive producer, also revealed that the series ends with the finale, which shows Halston’s last days before he died of complications from AIDS in 1990.
So, it seems unlikely that there will be a second season of Halston, unless Netflix changes its mind and decides to keep the show going. We don’t think that will happen soon, though, because of the way the story is told and because the official Halston Archives and Family have distanced themselves from the series, calling it “an inaccurate, fictionalized account.”

Since Halston is based on the life of a real person, there aren’t many details to talk about for a possible second season. But if Netflix decides to keep going with the story, it could look into parts of Halston’s impact that weren’t talked about in the first season.
