Clay Aikens was born on November 30 1978 in Raleigh North Carolina. He had a passion for singing at a young age and was part of the Raleigh Boychior. He also sang in school choirs, church choirs, and local theatre productions. After school, he was the lead singer of a local band called By Chance.
