Jason Michael Cauchi, known professionally as Jax Taylor, is an American television personality, model, and actor.

As per the news, Jax Taylor is set to leave the in-patient treatment center he entered in late July.

Jax has spent the last 30 days in treatment and will be heading back home later this week,” a representative for The Valley star confirmed.

The statement also added “It’s been an emotional month for him and he’s most looking forward to spending time with his son.”

The reality TV star, who has a 3-year-old son named Cruz Michael Cauchi with his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, checked into a mental health facility on July 30.

As Taylor prepares to return home, he will also resume filming for the second season of The Valley, which started earlier this summer, according to news.

The report also mentioned that Taylor plans to discuss his time in the facility once he feels ready, and viewers can anticipate an emotional new season. Bravo has not yet responded to reports request for further details on Taylor’s return to filming.

A representative for the Vanderpump Rules alum shared, “Jax has consistently been open about his mental health challenges, particularly in recent months on his podcast. He has chosen to pursue in-patient treatment.”

The statement continued, “This is a very delicate period for him and his family. They request privacy and respect until he is prepared to discuss this further.”

Taylor’s treatment follows his separation from his estranged wife, Cartwright. The pair revealed their split in February after four years of marriage.

Cartwright disclosed the separation on their joint podcast, When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany, stating she “decided to move into a separate home to gain some space for the sake of [her] mental health.”

The former couple met nearly a decade ago in 2015. Their relationship has been featured on Vanderpump Rules, their spinoff Jax & Brittany Take Kentucky, and most recently, The Valley. They married on June 29, 2019, and welcomed their son, Cruz Michael Cauchi, on April 12, 2021.

Their separation news came just before The Valley’s premiere in February. Cartwright told she felt “a little bit of relief” since the split, noting she “needed this space.” Taylor shared that the decision was made because they believed it was “best for [their] family” after “going through some things for a while.”

The Valley is currently filming its second season, while Season 1 is available for streaming on Peacock.
