Ed Sheeran has admitted that he struggled to understand his sexuality as a child and that there was a time when he even entertained the idea that he was gay due to the fact that he was so in tune with his more feminine side.
Ed Sheeran has stated that he “for a little” entertained the idea that he was gay due to the fact that he enjoys musicals and Britney Spears.
“I have a clear feminine side, to the extent that when I was a kid I thought I was gay for a little,” he said in an interview for the Dutch podcast Man, Man, Man.
“I definitely have a large feminine side. I adore pop music, and musical theater and Britney Spears is one of my all-time favorite artists.
It’s likely that the extent of my manly side is limited to drinking beer and watching football.
He continued by saying, “Anyway, I am not a particularly manly person.” I am not a vehicle guy. I like a good automobile, but I wouldn’t call myself a car guy.
This news comes after Ed disclosed earlier in the week that both he and his daughter Lyra, who is one year old, had tested positive for the presence of the Covid-19 virus.

It is now required that the two individuals spend the next ten days apart from Ed’s wife and Lyra’s mother, Cherry Seaborn because neither of them has tested positive for the virus.
Ed’s new album, titled “=”, is scheduled to be released on October 29. The singer, who was born in Suffolk, shared a note on Instagram informing his audience that he was getting ready to begin his album promotion from his home.
He said the following in a message that was published to his Instagram feed: “I’ve unfortunately tested positive for Covid, thus I’m now self-isolating and following government instructions.”
“It indicates that I am unable to move on with any in-person commitments for the time being, and as a result, I will be conducting as many of my scheduled interviews and performances from my home as I am able to do so. I’m sorry to everyone that I’ve disappointed. Be safe everyone x.”
Ed Sheeran then disclosed that his daughter Lyra also had positive test results for the virus, following his initial revelation.
“I’m spending a lot of time by myself with my daughter. Since we are both confident in our status, I have spent time with her on my own, apart from my wife. He went on to explain that he was planning to spend the next ten days alone with her.
However, he was able to find a silver lining in the situation, as he said to The Daily Mail: “Sometimes I am gone and spend just two days a week with her, so being able to be with her for 10 consecutive days is amazing.”

Career
When Ed first started out as a musician, he would go all the way to London to participate in events, in addition to playing at venues in his home state of Suffolk. He would also perform music while busking on the street; in fact, he would do everything that would allow him to perform music.
At the time, he attended a significant number of these gigs, but he did not have a stable residence in which to sleep at night. He would need to sleep on the couches of friends or perhaps sleep on the Circle Line of the London Underground if he couldn’t find a place of his own.
Ed Sheeran’s debut album, simply titled “Plus” or “+,” was published in 2011 after he got a recording contract with Asylum Records. The album achieved unprecedented levels of commercial success, and it has since been awarded seven different platinum certifications in the UK.
