Lucky Daye (born September 25, 1985) is an American singer and songwriter from New Orleans, Louisiana.
They have him on the roster of Keep Cool and RCA. On November 9, 2018, he released his debut EP, I, and on February 6, 2019, he released his second, II. The EPs were a prelude to the May 24th release of his debut studio album, Painted. Daye has won a Grammy Award out of six nominations for his musical compositions.
The Beginnings of A Person’s Life
On September 25, 1985, David Debrandon Brown was born in New Orleans. The church he was reared in banned him from listening to secular music, but he discovered a natural talent for singing and taught himself how to compose melodies by rewriting children’s books into songs.
After immersing himself in the music of artists like Prince, Rick James, Lauryn Hill and Stevie Wonder, Brown gained a deep appreciation for R&B’s past. For his musical career, he moved to Atlanta from his native California.

There has been no word about his relationship as of yet. Rumors have it that they’ve just started dating, but who they’re dating is still out in the air. The reports claim that he is a first-time dater who hopes to find true love among the women he meets.
In addition to that, he’d want to take a trip with his beloved but hasn’t had the opportunity to do so yet. He hasn’t been the subject of any dating rumours thus far, and the details of his past relationships haven’t been made public.
Aside from that, his song lyrics convey to listeners that he is well-versed in the nuances of love and heartbreak. As of now, there is no information on his net worth available either. A Professional Music Career
Daye was 19 years old in 2005 when he participated on American Idol season 4. He received four “yes” votes for his audition song, “A Change Is Gonna Come” by Sam Cooke. He was quickly ousted from the competition after making it into the top 20.
On Keith Sweat’s Just Me and Ne-“She Yo’s Got Her Own” in 2008, Daye established himself as a lyricist and background vocalist.
He collaborated with Boyz II Men on “Believe Us” in 2014. In 2016, he collaborated with Keke Palmer, Ella Mai, Trey Songz, and Mary J. Blige on songs including “10,000 Hours,” “Down,” and “Song Goes Off,” among other contemporary R&B artists.
Daye released his debut single, “Roll Some Mo,” in October 2018 under Keep Cool Records and RCA Records. His first EP, entitled I, was published on November 9 as part of a series leading up to his debut studio album Painted.

‘Karma,’ the first track off Daye’s new EP, was released on January 17th. he released II, the second in a series of three EPs, on February 6, 2019.
In February 2019, he embarked on a tour with Ella Mai. For Painted, Daye was nominated for four Grammy Awards in November, including Best R&B Album. Daye will open for R&B singer Khalid in New Zealand on November 21, 2019.
“Better” by English artist Zayn was co-written by him on September 25, 2020.
Table for Two was released by Daye on February 12, 2021.
Daye celebrated the 50th anniversary of his album What’s Going On with a cover of Marvin Gaye’s “Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology)” on May 21, 2021.
