Peaky Blinders Season 6 Release Date: Season 6 of Peaky Blinders has finally here.
Peaky Blinders Season 6 will also mark the conclusion of showrunner Steven Knight’s famous BBC historical drama on television, while the story will be continued in a feature-length film “set and shot in Birmingham” to celebrate the end of the Blinders.
In preparation for the show’s TV conclusion, we’ve compiled a list of everything we know about Peaky Blinders season 6 – from its confirmed Netflix release date and new cast members to confirmed plot information.
Peaky Blinders Season 6 Trailer Review
So, with Season 6 of Peaky Blinders on the horizon, what do we know about the cast and plot? The first official trailer for new episodes (which you can watch below) confirms the return of several characters as well as the general direction season 6 will take.
Have you recovered from the 90-second blast? If so, you’ll be pleased to learn that some familiar names will return in season 6 to wrap up the loose ends left by Tommy’s botched assassination attempt on Sir Oswald Mosely.
Sam Claflin will reprise his role as the sleazy Blackshirts creator, and the opening episode of season 6 is titled Black Day, which suggests we may receive some much-needed answers early in the upcoming season.

Peaky Blinders Season 6 Cast Members
Cillian Murphy, as Tommy, is obviously back, as are the other Shelby suspects, including Paul Anderson as Arthur Shelby. The ethereal apparitions of Tommy’s dead wife, Grace Shelby, were sparked by Tommy’s psychiatric problems at the end of season 5, so we’ll probably see Annabelle Wallis again.
The revelation that Tom Hardy will reprise his role as Alfie Solomons, following his remarkable season 5 recovery after being shot in the head the season before, is even more surprising.
You can watch a teaser from the official Peaky Blinders Twitter account (with the description “look who’s back”) showing Solomons meeting Tommy for the first time below.
We also know that Natasha O’Keeffe will reprise her role as Lizzie Stark, thanks to a tweet from the program. However, Charlie Murphy, who played unionist leader Jessie Eden, will not return for Season 6. “Yeah. In March, she told Digital Spy, “I’m done now.” “However, it was a great deal of fun.”
But what about Michael’s intriguing partner, Gina, played by Anya Taylor-Joy from The Queen’s Gambit? Were the scheming pair to blame for the failed assassination? Michael’s attempt to take over Shelby Company Ltd raises our suspicions.
Regardless, we know we’ll see a lot more of Gina and her family in season 6 — director Anthony Byrne told GQ in August 2019 that “Gina, and whatever her family is,” he said.
What Can Happen in Finale Peaky Blinders Season 6?
Peaky Blinders Season 6 came to a close with a bang. Tommy tied up several loose ends in the BBC drama’s season 6 conclusion, including those of Michael (Finn Cole) and “black cat” Billy Grade (Emmett J. Scanlan). Regardless, Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and Shelby Company Limited will be remembered — here’s all we know about the show’s seventh season so far.
Tommy’s tuberculosis diagnosis, on the other hand, was proven to be a hoax orchestrated by fascist Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin) and Dr. Holford (Aneurin Barnard). While many fans expected Tommy Shelby to die brutally, it’s reasonable to assume that if Peaky Blinders is to continue, Tommy has yet to try to “transform the world.”
Tommy Makes a Triumphant Return as The Criminal Mastermind
In the Peaky Blinders season 6 finale, Tommy makes a triumphant return as the criminal mastermind who is always one step ahead of his opponents. Duke is welcomed into the Shelby family as a true Peaky Blinder when Shelby sets Duke and Isiah the duty of assassinating traitor Billy Grade and banning Finn from the Shelby household.
The brothers’ plot to assassinate Arthur (Paul Anderson) leads to an epic battle pitting Arthur, Charlie (Ned Dennehy), and Jeremiah (Benjamin Zephaniah) against Laura McKee (Charlene McKenna) and her IRA band, with Arthur finally getting his revenge for Polly’s death (and Laura McKee’s daughter’s death).
Tommy and Johnny Dogs (Packy Lee) finally make it to Canada. By shifting the explosives to another vehicle and fatally shooting Michael, he thwarts his assassination attempt.
Tommy’s understanding that he is soon to die has informed everything he has done in Season 6’s final episodes. Tommy closes his business at the end of Season 6, passes his role to Sophie Rundle’s Ada, and then vanishes into the forest, where his horses die.
Tommy, on the other hand, is motivated to connect with his daughter’s spirit by a flash of insight: During Mosley and Mitford’s wedding reception, Dr. Holford is present, and Ruby directs Tommy to the fireplace. Tommy’s death sentence has been overturned.
He saves the worried doctor, abandons his wagon, and rides away on his horse, leaving a trail of clues for Peaky Blinders to investigate in the aftermath of season 6.
Peaky Blinders Season 6 Release Date
Season 6 of Peaky Blinders will air in France on June 10, 2022. As in previous seasons, Netflix is broadcasting the episodes. They’ll all be available simultaneously. Unlike the Marvel or Star Wars series, there is no need to wait a week between episodes.
Please keep in mind that we’re talking about the French broadcast.
Peaky Blinders was formerly a BBC show, so keep that in mind. Season 6 was so previously broadcast on BBC One in the United Kingdom.
