Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Toronto developed and released Far Cry 5, a 2018 first-person action-adventure shooter game. It is the sequel to Far Cry 4 from 2014, and the series’ fifth main chapter. The Project at Eden’s Gate, a doomsday cult that has taken over Hope County under the command of its charismatic and powerful leader, Joseph Seed, is set in a fictional region of Montana, United States.
Players take control of an unidentified junior deputy sheriff who is stuck in Hope County and must cooperate with various resistance groups to free the territory from the Seeds’ and Eden’s Gate’s dictatorial tyranny. Players face hostile soldiers and deadly creatures with a variety of weaponry in this combat and exploration game.
Many characteristics of role-playing games are present in the game, such as a branching storyline and side quests.
A map editor, a cooperative multiplayer mode, and a competitive multiplayer mode are also included in the game.
Far Cry 5 was announced in early 2017 and has been under development since then. Before settling on an American setting, the crew considered numerous options. The game was largely inspired by various socio-political events in modern history, such as the Cold War and the September 11 attacks.
The development team wanted to portray the depressed social mood in the aftermath of the events and use it in the game. The competitive multiplayer component, developed and released completely by Ubisoft, was also built in-house, with the company’s global teams receiving additional creative involvement for Far Cry 5.

Resist (Good Ending)
If you choose to resist, he will pour two containers of bliss all over the place. Everyone will be enraged, and your buddies will attack you. You’ll have to strike back at them. Your attack will not kill your pals since they will fall and can be raised by you to fight with you. Attack Joseph and the cult leader once you’ve revived all of your friends. A flash of light and the sound of an explosion can be observed in the distance as the cult leader dies.
While you are loading your belongings into the truck, the sheriff and other cops rush into Dutch’s bunker to avoid the explosion. Your car collides with a tree and knocks you out before you reach the bunker.
When you wake up, the Father is lamenting the death of his family and promising you a new beginning as his first child.
Leave Now (Bad Ending)
When you meet Joseph in his compound and choose to Walk Away, this event occurs.
When you decide to depart, you climb into a cult vehicle with a hesitant Deputy Hudson, Pratt, and Sheriff Whitehorse, electing to leave everyone in Hope County in Joseph’s hands.
As you drive away with them, Sheriff Whitehorse assures Deputy Hudson that they are not abandoning the citizens of Hope County, but that they will head to Missoula to warn and enlist the assistance of the National Guard, and then return with more force to reclaim Hope County from Joseph.
Following the chat, the sheriff decides to turn on the car radio, where the song “just you” begins to play, while your eyesight begins to turn red, the screen blackens, and the credits begin to roll.
Keep in mind that Jacob used the song “Only You” to brainwash you into killing people through the visions you had after listening to it. We can only presume that you kill all of the passengers in the vehicle before the Missoula authorities are notified.
The Unknown Ending (Easter Egg)
This ending occurs near the beginning of the game, where a hidden ending exists.
You have the option of doing nothing when you are prompted to shackle Joseph at the start of the game. Sheriff Whitehorse will give up after a few minutes, and all three of you, including the marshal, will exit the church as the credits begin to roll.
