Wednesday is a Big Hit on Netflix!
Tim Burton’s new version of the classic Addams Family story (snap, snap!) has recently passed Stranger Things as the TV show that people watch the most hours of in a week. For the week of November 28 to December 4, 411.29 million hours were spent watching Wednesday, making it the most-watched English-language Netflix show ever in its first week. Whew!
The TV show follows Wednesday Addams while she is at Nevermore Academy. She has to deal with psychic classmates and classmates with superpowers while trying to figure out the truth about a mystery that her parents were involved in many years ago.
Wednesday can do anything, from getting visions of future destruction from her worst enemy to trying to stop a killing spree that is causing a lot of trouble to find a date for the school dance.
Well, 10 million other people who recently watched Wednesday did the same thing. Yes, you read that right. After the record-setting release on Wednesday, the actress gained a mind-boggling 10 million followers in just 10 days.
Pop Crave put a chart of Jenna’s IG follower growth on Twitter. This chart showed that Jenna has been getting millions of new followers every day. When the show debuted on Netflix, the Wednesday actress had 9.39 million followers. As of December 7, she has 23 million followers and counting.
