Ozark Season 4 Part 2 Ending Explained (in Detail)
The Ozark season 4 finale concludes with the Byrdes finally getting what they want, but at the expense of three major characters dying. Ozark’s creators have previously stated that Ozark season 4 part 2, which will be available on Netflix in April 2022, is the series’ true finale. Surprisingly, Ozark season 4, episode 14 “A Hard Way To Go” ends with an open-ended scene.
Wendy and Marty Byrde finally secure funding for the Byrde Family Foundation in Ozark’s final episode, making them politically “bulletproof.” However, when Camila Elizondro convinces Clare Shaw that Ruth murdered Camila’s son Javi, the Byrdes step aside to allow Camila to kill Ruth.
While former Navarro cartel leader Omar Navarro has been removed from the picture by his sister Camila, another issue resurfaces in the form of private investigator and Chicago cop Mel Sattem, whom Jonah promptly executes before the end credits roll.
Ozark’s finale, as expected, is full of unexpected twists. As Marty and Wendy enable the rise of a drug lord who is even more dangerous and cunning than Omar, it becomes undeniably clear that the Byrdes are Ozark’s true villains. Here’s everything viewers need to know about the Ozark season 4 finale.
