First Look: Batman Ninja Battles the Yakuza League in New Trailer
The Dark Knight returns as Batman Ninja, and Warner Bros shares an exciting glimpse of his battle against the Yakuza League.
Warner Bros. Japan premiered the first teaser trailer, key visual, and character visuals for their upcoming film Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League at Anime Expo.
This new film sees the Caped Crusader return to a samurai-filled era, just as in the first film, Batman moved his companions (and villains) from Gotham to fairytale-era Japan.
The trailer revealed that this time the Yakuza League includes Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, and Green Lantern. With the word “Versus” in the film, Batman will have to deal with his former teammates for reasons that are not yet known.
The film’s poster also reveals Wonder Woman with an eagle tattoo, the Flash in a traditional Japanese hat, Aquaman in a fisherman’s turban, and Green Lantern (presumably Jessica Cruise) in a kimono and a Showcasing Japanese-style lanterns.
The film was announced in May and stars actor Koichi Yamadera reprising his role as Batman.
The film will also feature the return of production members such as Kamikaze Douga, who was behind the CG anime opening theme of JoJo’s Bizarre Succession. Now the other casting and official release date of this film is yet to be announced.

In addition to Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League, the Warner Bros. Anime Expo 2024 panel also unveiled a trailer and key scene from the film, as well as a set of characters.
