Season 4 of Sex Education has completed filming. Aimee Lou Wood, star of Aimee Gibbs, announced the news on Instagram, where she posted a photo of a bouquet of flowers with the caption: “Wrap on season 4. Everyone has worked so hard. Thank you. Love you.”
Her post came shortly after Ncuti Gatwa, who plays Eric Effiong on the program, shared a photo of his trailer door and stated that season 4 will be his last.
Thus, while we don't yet have a release date for the next season, we can make an educated guess as to when it will be available on Netflix. Season 3 began production in September 2020 and was released a year later, therefore season 4 is expected to premiere this summer.

What Could Be the Plot of Sex Education Season 4?
The third season of Sex Education ended with another chapter in Otis and Maeve's will-they-won't-they relationship. In the season finale, the two finally get together, but they quickly break up because Maeve is leaving for a study program in the US over the summer.
