Campfire Cooking in Another World Season 2 Renewal Status
As was already said, Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill has not been officially renewed for a second season, but there are signs that the anime will be back for a second course.
Renewals of modern anime usually depend on two main things: the availability of source material from the original light novel or manga series and the popularity of the franchise as a whole. Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill has a lot of both, which is a good thing.
The anime Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill is based on a series of light novels by Ren Eguchi. The series has also been turned into a manga. Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill has turned about 28 chapters of the manga into an anime before the end of season 1.

Campfire Cooking in Another World Season 2
The creators have said that they want the new season to come out in 2024, but there is no official release date for it yet.
The good news is that both the original light novel and the manga are still putting out new content. In Japan, 13 complete Tankobon volumes of the light novel and 9 complete Tankobon volumes of the manga have been released.
This means that there is plenty of material for a second season of Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, and maybe even a third and fourth if Eguchi keeps up the same release schedule.
With scores of 7.67/10 on MyAnimeList, 7.5/10 on IMDB, 74% on Anilist, and 4/5 on Anime-Planet, the anime should do well enough at Studio MAPPA to get a second season.
These scores are nowhere near as good as the ones for Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Vinland Saga, or Chainsaw Man, which were all made by Studio MAPPA. But these ratings are much higher than shows like The Idaten Deities, Zombieland Saga, and Kakegurui, some of which already have new seasons.
I don’t want Campfire cooking to end!! 😭 Season 2 immediately please

So, even though Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill hasn’t been picked up for a second season yet, it should only be a matter of time before that happens.
We Might See Some Delay for Campfire Cooking in Another World Season 2
The only problem is that Studio MAPPA has one of the busiest production schedules in the anime industry. Studio MAPPA is an animation studio that has become the GOAT in recent years, but it also has one of the busiest production schedules.
At the time this was written, MAPPA was working on the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen, Hell’s Paradise, and the last part of Attack on Titan. Even though it’s possible that the studio would start making season 2 of Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill after these shows have started, we don’t think that this show would be more important than something like Chainsaw Man, which is expected to start making episodes next.
Most likely, it will be at least a year before we see Mukouda, Fel, and Sui on our TV screens again. In the meantime, why not read the first series?
J-Novel Club has published 12 of the 13 light novel volumes and 8 of the 9 manga volumes in English. All of these books can be found at places like Amazon, Amazon Kindle, Apple iBooks, and Barnes & Noble’s Nook.
I’ve been looking forward to a number of these, but with Campfire Cooking ending next week, I just want to know when Season 2 comes out

Also, there is a spin-off manga called “Sui’s Great Adventure” that tells Sui’s backstory. So far, two of the seven volumes have been translated into English:
“The sequel to Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill is here, and Sui, the cute slime, is the star! We meet our brave baby in the middle of a big forest, where its cowardly owner is trying to get to the other side.
Read on to see the forest from a different point of view, including food, griffons, potions, and more. But be careful, because kids often get lost, especially in dense and confusing woods…”
