What is School Spirits All About?
School Spirits is about a girl named Maddie, played by Peyton List, who dies and wakes up in the afterlife at her high school. She doesn’t remember how she died, but strange things happened around the time she did. There, she meets a group of dead people who also died at Split High School and are now stuck between life and death.
Oliver Goldstick is in charge of the show. He is best known for running Pretty Little Liars and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. He has also worked on Ravenswood and Ugly Betty. School Spirits Season 2: Renewed or Canceled!
School Spirits season 2 hasn’t been announced by Paramount+ yet, but the showrunner and creators told J-14 that they have “lots of thoughts” about it.
“Oh, we got ’em. Nate says, “We have a lot of ideas,” and Olivier jokes, “We can’t share them. You’ll have to die.”
“I hope there will be a second season,” says the director. “We hope that will happen. Because there are some great places for us to take the show.
Megan adds that the three of them “love the story” of School Spirits and “want to keep telling it.”
Spencer MacPherson, who plays Xavier Baxter on the show, also talked about a second season.
“It’s hard to answer that question without giving away any of the cool things that happen in season one,” he tells J-14. “But I’m sure that it ends in a way that will make people want more, and I really, really hope that we get to do that.”

What Happens at the End of School Spirits Season 1?
At the beginning of the episode, Maddie can be seen perched above the roof of the school. He is looking for evidence that she was the one who killed her.
