Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Chapter 169!
The chapter opens up with all the incarnations entering the constellations’ area on the first-floor banquet hall. The Dokkaebi tells all the versions that they should treat the constellations with respect because their names are so good.
People can find drawings, masks, and even coins moving around in the hall. These things aren’t normal because they are all the shapes that the constellations take when they don’t want to make sense.
Iris and Selena are praised and called by their nicknames as soon as they walk into the hall. Iris looks at Dokja and makes a smug smile because she feels like she’s better than everyone else.
The Constellations are excited to see the incarnations come into the hall, but as soon as Dokja comes in, everyone goes quiet. Dokja wonders if they stopped talking because he’s not well-known enough, which makes Iris laugh.
All of a sudden, everyone in the room starts praising Kim Dokja, and all the stars start to tell stories that he made up. Some Constellations, like the Naval War God, King Heunmu, and the Bald General of Justice, go up to Dokja to talk to him.
Some Constellations give coins to Dokja just so he will look in their direction, and they all say he looks good. Iris gets scared when she hears how famous Dokja is.
Next, Junghyook walks in. He gets a big cheer from “the supreme king,” and, as expected, the stars go wild over his looks.
Iris feels bad about what she did when the screens show all of a sudden how rude she was earlier, which makes the stars angry. Iris feels embarrassed, but Dokja doesn’t pay her much mind because he’s thinking about what Dionysus told him.
Dokja then runs into some other Constellations he had met earlier in the scenarios. They all talk, even though it feels weird to Dokja to talk to floating things.
Dokja sees a strange man sitting on the stairs leading to the second floor, so he asks the stars what they know about him. The stars tell him that man is the best swordsman in Goryeo and the biggest historical figure.
Guards from the underworld suddenly appeared on the first floor and told Dokja that the queen wanted to meet him. Dokja sees that Junghyook is also going to the second floor, so he agrees to go there too. Goryeo’s best swordsman fights with the guards as he goes up the stairs because he doesn’t like to bow in front of the stars on the second floor.
As the argument gets worse, they pull out their guns and get ready to fight, but a voice from the second floor stops them. Dokja turns around and sees Persephone smiling at him from the top of the stairs.
