Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: We’re still a few months away from the scheduled introduction of the Samsung Galaxy S24, but details about the top phone series keep coming out, and this time we’ve obtained an early look at one of the cameras on the back of the Ultra edition.
According to @UniverseIce (via SamMobile), the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will employ the 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP2SX sensor in one of its four rear cameras – an enhanced version of the ISOCELL HP2 sensor seen in the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
In other words, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S23 Ultra will both have a 200MP camera, the next phone arriving in January or February will have a “optimized version” of the original, assuming this rumor is correct.
It’s not the most thrilling upgrade, but it qualifies as one, and it appears that gradual improvements will be the norm when the Galaxy S24 devices are introduced. Let’s hope the pricing reflects this.
What We Know About Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra!
We learned a few days ago that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a screen capable of reaching 2500 nits of brightness, a significant improvement over the Galaxy S23 Ultra and up there with one of the brightest phone screens on the market right now.
With reports of a 2TB storage option for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, it appears that the Ultra will be the model to choose if you want the most premium hardware available (and have the means to acquire it).
In terms of additional speculations and leaks, it’s unclear if Samsung would equip all Galaxy S24 variants with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPUs or bring back its own Exynos chipset for specific devices in specific regions.
On the design front, the Galaxy S24 series will reportedly borrow design ideas from the Galaxy Z Fold 5, with flatter frames and corners. The Galaxy S23 phones were revealed on February 1, 2023, therefore the successors should arrive 12 months later. Stay tuned with Crossover99 for more tech-related Info and News.
