Also, the Usuba law said that people had to marry within the family, which made Arata even less likely to let Miyo go.
In the meantime, Kiyoka and his team kept fighting against the Grotesqueries. One night, Godo let his guard down because he thought they had beaten a group of Grotesqueries. That’s when he was caught in a trap. Kiyoka jumped in to protect him, but she passed out as a result.
Back at the Usuba house, Miyo broke the seal Sumi had put on her and got all her powers back. At this point, she had heard that Kiyoka was hurt and was about to go help him.
But Arata stopped her and told her that the Usubas and the emperor had made a deal. As part of the deal, Miyo couldn’t have any touch with people who had magical powers. In the end, Arata chose to go with her to see her future husband.
At the Kudo house, there was a lot of stress, but Miyo kept hoping that Kiyoka would wake up. Arata told her that she could try to bring Kiyoka back by using her Dream-Sight.
