In the first part of Season 2 Episode 9 of Jujutsu Kaisen, staff and students are asked about what Satoru Gojo means to them. We cut to a scene of Satoru holding the heads of two evil souls. Before that shot, Satoru invites Jogo, Hanami, and Choso to a fight, which they do at some point. Even though they tried, Satoru kills Hanami in front of Jogo.
We cut to Getou telling his friends what the Prison Realm is. He says it is a shield, the personification of Genshin, and can seal almost anything. Getou says that once its door opens, its lock works within a four-meter radius. He says that they need to keep Satgoru in that area for one minute.
Jogo talks to Getou about how he doesn’t trust him, but Getou says everything will be fine. Jogo is trying to get away from Satoru in the present. When his plans don’t work, he goes on the attack and asks Choso to help him. Satoru thinks about his position and knows that he can’t save every person in the area.
But he is determined to get rid of all the evil ghosts here. Jogo asks Getou if the door is ready yet. Getou says it isn’t even close. He tells Jogo and Choso that Satoru should feel more nervous. The person Yuji questioned in the last chapter changes into a transfigured human.
Also, the train comes, which lets Jogo know that everything is fine. Several animals get off the train and start eating people in the area where Satoru is. Mahito gets out of the car and makes fun of Satoru.
Choso and Mahito start killing a lot of people while Jogo keeps fighting Satoru. When Mahito looks at Satoru, he sees that he is colder than Yuji. With all the live and dead people around him, Mahito knows that Satoru will soon snap and let loose his Unlimited Void.
If he does that, he will kill everyone in the area. Satoru sends out an Unlimited Void that lasts 0.2 seconds. The narrator says that Satoru used this because it wouldn’t make people who weren’t sorcerers sick or hurt them in other ways.
Also, during the 0.2-second Unlimited Void, non-sorcerers, even people who have been changed, get half a year’s worth of information poured into their heads. The narrator says that two months later, the people on the fifth-floor basement room were able to return to society.
At this level, an Unlimited Void could wake up special-grade evil spirits, so Satour chose to attack the people who had been changed. We move on to the scene with Satoru from earlier.
