Lainey Wilson wins her first CMT Music Award for Collaborative Video of the Year with HARDY.
Sunday was the first time the country singer won a CMT award. She won the Collaborative Video of the Year award for the song “Wait in the Truck,” which was led by HARDY.
Wilson said she was happy to have had even a “small part” in the track, which has since won an award.
“I just want to say that I'm so proud to be a small part of the song. When I heard the song, I told you that it's a chance for people who have been through this to feel like they're not alone, and it's a chance for people who have been doing this — don't even get me started.
