Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2 Release Date!
There were a total of 12 episodes in the debut season, which debuted in the summer of 2021. At the time that this article was written, the second season of the Seirei Gensouki Spirit Chronicles had not yet been released. According to the director, Osamu Yamasaki, it will be “a little longer” until the second season is broadcast.
The return of the show will not take place for a little while longer. According to the previously established release plans, the first season was announced in November 2020 and made available in July 2021. The premiere of Season 2 is tentatively scheduled for either July or October of 2023.
What is the plot of Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Season 2?
In the first season of “Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles,” we meet a young man named Haruto Amakawa. After a sad death, he is reborn as a young boy named Rio, but he is no longer in Japan. Rio lives in the poor parts of Beltrum, which is ruled by a cruel and corrupt ruling family. Haruto soon finds out that Rio is one of many people who are sick of the cruel House of Arbor and want to bring it down.
In the last episode of Season 1, Rio stops his friend Celia from getting married against her will. Haruto also finds out that some people from Beltrum have come back to life in his world. With this information, it’s a safe bet that Season 2 will show how Rio and Haruto became connected. Season 2 could also explain why Rio has become so strong since he found out about his connection to Haruto.
When it comes to the original light novels, Season 2 of “Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles” has a lot of material to work with. The first season went through the light novels up to Volume 5. As of this writing in 2023, there are 23 books of “Spirit Chronicles” that could be used as inspiration for the anime.
If Season 2 continues the story from Volume 6, Rio will go to the trading city of Amande to find out more about hero summonings. In this book, he tries to get into Celia’s family’s house so he can tell her father she’s safe. Later, he runs into a big group of monsters led by Reiss and kills them all in style, which makes Miharu wonder who he really is.

Who Will Be in the Second Season of Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles?
The main characters of Season 1 of “Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles” are Haruto Amakawa and Rio, who are played by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka in the original Japanese version and Kieran Regan in the English dub.
Haruto dies in a strange car accident, while Rio, a young man in a dream world, loses his mother in a horrible way and becomes an orphan. The two characters seem to be the same person, or at least they have the same ideas.
Rio finds out all of a sudden about Haruto’s old life and personality, and she sets out to find out more about what’s going on.
Yoshitsugu Matsuoka does a great job as the voice of Haruto/Rio, and he is just as excited for Season 2 as the rest of us. In an interview with the cast that was posted on the official “Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles” website, he said, “Is it next week yet?!” He also said that he and the rest of the cast “are aiming for a fun” second season.
Rio’s teacher Celia (Akane Fujita and Madeline Dorroh) and his bound spirit Aishia (Yuuki Kuwahara and Morgan Laure) will probably be back in Season 2. The Japanese people who give these figures their voices are also very excited about what’s coming. Fujita told fans, “This is all because of your support,” and Kuwahara said she will “keep putting a lot of love into the role of Aisia.”
