Christopher Catesby Harington, known professionally as Kit Harington, is an English actor. He is best known for his role as Jon Snow in the HBO fantasy television series Game of Thrones.

Kit Harington has plenty to be excited about.

While discussing the upcoming third season of HBO’s Industry, the 37-year-old actor shared that his young daughter has just taken her first steps.

“My little girl just took her first steps the other day. I’m doing a play in London, and I’m missing them a lot,” he told Extra. “I have a boy and a girl now. I couldn’t be more blessed. They are the most beautiful children in every single way. They are just gorgeous.”

On Industry, Kit describes his character, a CEO of a green energy company, as “elegant” and “highly driven.”

Kit added, “He’s quite sort of, like, keen on women, is an interesting way of putting it. But he’s a damaged sort of individual.”

When questioned about whether his character fits the “tech bro” stereotype, Kit responded, “He’s an entrepreneur. I believe he views himself as a British Mark Zuckerberg or Elon Musk, or at least aspires to be like them.”

Kit was a huge fan of the show before signing on, saying, “I finally had that thing that I sort of experienced in ‘Game of Thrones’ when people would come on set and were kind of a bit, you know, they had seen you so much on TV, now they are on the set, and it was quite overwhelming. I had that with this, because I had seen Marisa [Abela]’s work, I’d seen Harry [Lawtey]’s work and Myha’la’s and everything, and so I did have that feeling like, ‘Oh my God, I’m here. I’m in ‘Industry.’”

Kit also spoke about how Henry fits in with Harry’s character Rob. He dished, “There’s a love/hate thing with Rob, definitely. They have this class thing. Rob’s from the working class, he’s from the sort of upper class, sort of slightly aristocratic background. They bump heads a lot, but they sort of love each other. And I think there’s a specific scene in episode 2, I think it is, between them, which I sort of saw aw a love scene almost.”

Season 3 of Industry will debut Aug. 11 on HBO and will be available to stream on Max. New episodes will be released weekly.
